Jeffrey W. GarrettMr. Garrett was born on February 6, 1955 in Dubuque, Iowa. He moved to the Kansas City area as a child and attended and graduated from Truman High School.

Mr. Garrett graduated in 1977 from the University of Missouri/Columbia, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. He received his Master of Science in Mathematics the following December.

After graduating from Mizzou, Mr. Garrett worked for IBM in Kansas City as a Systems Engineer. While employed by IBM, Mr. Garrett attended evening classes at Rockhurst College and was awarded an MBA degree in 1996.

Mr. Garrett left IBM to be an entrepreneur in 1993, successfully running his own computer consulting business.

Mr. Garrett decided to pursue a career as a lawyer. Mr. Garrett graduated from UMKC Law School in 2007. Mr. Garrett is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.
