TINA CARTER: I'm Tina Carter. I'm the office manager and legal assistant for Carter Law Offices. I also happen go be Doug's wife. Doug's an amazing lawyer. And he's a truly amazing person.
He's a licensed pilot. And for the last 15 years, we've enjoyed flying across the country for both business and pleasure. He's been active in the American Legion Boys' State Program for the last 20 years, ran the law school program for over a decade, when he was 42 decided to learn to play the piano and in two years learned to play not only the piano but also learned to play jazz piano. Doug's played at most of the major music venues in Kansas City. And the band will usually let him sit in. Most of the time, they'll make him do that when they're on break. And his latest passion is snow skiing. And you'll find him most weekends teaching ski instruction, whether it be here in Missouri or in Colorado.
Doug's greatest passion is the practice of law and our clients. And I'm amazed when I see the level of commitment and passion when he's working with a client or working on a case and really trying to do the very best that we can for that family or that individual.
